SOUND FAMILIAR?

You've Tried Everything.
And your back still hurts.

You know the cycle. You finish a training session — deadlifts, squats, something heavy. You feel fine in the gym. You wake up the next morning and your low back is locked. Not injured — just tight. Resistant. Like something in there decided to clench overnight.

You stretch it. Foam roll it. Take ibuprofen. Do the extensions you found on YouTube. It loosens up. Two days later you're back to normal. Then the next session happens. And it's back.

You've probably been through all of this already:

Rest — helped short-term and came back the moment you trained again

Chiropractic — adjustments that felt good for a day and wore off

Massage — temporary relief, nothing lasting

Insurance PT — generic exercises on a flyer, ten minutes with a tech, discharged with pain

Imaging — an MRI that said "mild disc bulge" and no real plan

Pushing through it — because slowing down isn't an option for you

None of that worked long-term. Because none of it found the cause.

THE ROOT CAUSE

Why Lower Back Pain in Active Adults Is Almost Never a Back Problem

The lumbar spine is a load transfer zone. It sits between the thoracic spine above and the pelvis and hips below. When everything above and below is doing its job correctly, the lumbar spine handles load well and stays quiet.

When something above or below stops doing its job — a thoracic spine that won't extend, hips that won't load and absorb properly, a breathing and bracing pattern that's inconsistent — the lumbar spine has to compensate. It takes on load it wasn't designed to handle. It compresses. It tightens. It protests.

This is why stretching the low back almost never fixes lower back pain. You're treating the victim, not the criminal. The moment you load it again, the same compensation pattern runs, the same structures get overloaded, and the same tightness returns.

PATTERN 01

Hip Extension Deficit

One of the most common — and most missed. When the hip can't fully extend during a hinge or stride, the low back hyperextends to compensate. Every deadlift, every lunge, every step adds compression at the lumbar segments. Restore hip extension and the back stops compensating.

PATTERN 02

Breathing & Bracing Dysfunction

Most lifters have been told to "brace their core" but have never been taught what that actually means mechanically. Incorrect intra-abdominal pressure management during heavy lifts is one of the primary drivers of low back breakdown in trained athletes.

PATTERN 03

Thoracic Immobility

When the thoracic spine won't flex and extend, the lumbar spine is forced to move more. Over thousands of reps across a training career, this adds up. Restoring thoracic mobility often immediately reduces the load demand on the lumbar spine.

Real Results. Real Patients.
Not Managed — Fixed.

After years of back pain and going through a multitude of trainers and physical therapists, George was able to significantly reduce my discomfort in one session. We talked about my goals and then started down a path to restore my long term health and fitness. Now I can pick up something off the floor without having ptsd by back is going to blow out. Wish I found him sooner. So many trainers in Las Vegas but only a handful with this level of knowledge and talent.

THE PROCESS

Getting Back to Training Is Simpler Than You Think

01

We Find What Everyone Else Missed

Your first session is 60 minutes, 1-on-1 with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. They watch you actually move — not just where it hurts, but your entire movement system. Most patients finally understand what's wrong and feel a meaningful difference before they leave that first appointment.

02

You Keep Training While We Fix It

No generic sheets. No "just rest." Your program is built around your body, your lifts, your schedule. You stay active through the entire process — modified when needed, never sidelined. Every session moves you forward with hands-on treatment and progressive strength work.

03

You Come Out Stronger Than Before

Pain-free is just the beginning. We build the strength and resilience around the root cause so this never slows you down again. You don't leave Optimize pain-free — you leave stronger than you were before any of this started. That's the standard we hold ourselves to with every patient.
